Does the ocean spark joy for you? Are you fascinated by research into marine animals or feel passionate about educating underserved youth? At the Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute we are doing it all – conducting ground-breaking research on the ocean using a platform of genomics; educating underserved youth for careers in biotechnology at the Gloucester Biotechnology Academy; and telling incredible stories to inspire our community of followers to be curious about the endless opportunities from the ocean.
Join our team for a summer internship where you will work as part of the GMGI Communications and Development teams to share our impact across social media and engage with our community via in-person or virtual events. In this role you will hone your skills in social media communication and events management – we want your fresh ideas and creative input! GMGI is celebrating our 10th anniversary in 2023 and this internship will play an important role as we celebrate in style and share broadly our impact and future potential in marine research and education.
