Eric Huang, PhD

Entrepreneur-in-Residence

Eric is a veteran life science executive with 20 years of experience leading R&D as well as fundraising and business development. Most recently, he was the Chief Development Officer at Glympse Bio, an MIT spinout from Dr. Sangeeta Bhatia’s laboratory. He was its first hire and led the company from technology transfer out of MIT through initial human clinical trials. Prior to that, Eric held both scientific and business positions of increasing responsibility at Acusphere, culminating in his title of General Manager. He has spent the majority of his career advancing innovative and transformative technologies from concept to clinic. Eric received both his Ph.D. and Sc.B. from Brown University, as well as an M.S. from Rutgers University. In his free time, Eric loves to ski with his family and try out new restaurants whenever possible.
