Introducing Eric Huang, GMGI’s First Entrepreneur-in-Residence
Last December, the GMGI Board of Directors approved a commercialization framework to foster innovation that aligns with our science strategy and surfaces opportunities to realize revenue, diversify income sources and expand the regional economy. A key component of this effort is hiring an Entrepreneur-in-Residence to advise the team and lend expertise in the development of research discoveries.
In July, GMGI welcomed Eric Huang, Ph.D., who brings 20 years of strategic and operational experience developing and commercializing transformative technologies. Dr. Huang was most recently the Chief Development Officer of Glympse Bio, and held prior roles as General Manager and Head of Technical Operations & IP, Head of Business Development, and R&D Leader at Acusphere. He has a Ph.D. in Medical Science from Brown University, a Masters in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers, and a BS in Biomedical Engineering also from Brown.
We are thrilled to have Dr. Huang on board and look forward to providing updates on his work with the GMGI team as we translate our innovative research into viable new opportunities.
